FORME: “Exploring Fashion’s Borders ” is coming!

Visualnoisetype, Lotus eye fashion (Indian clothing line) and South Asian Arts (a non-profit arts company) are producing an event called:

FORME: “Exploring Fashion’s Borders”

FORME is a show to educate, expose mainstream fashion, arts, media communities, and other audiences, to what haute couture, textiles, artisanship and design mean around the world. By showcasing edgy international designers and artists in an atmosphere of clothing, music, DJ’s, and visual arts/film/photography. We hope to accomplish this in some small way and highlight the very profound reach of global arts.

This year- FORME will celebrate the fashion of India through Lotus Eye, with a fashion show. Accompanied by live music and a short film, cocktails and networking. This event will be a first of its kind. We are holding the event on November 10th in the Ayden Art Gallery in Tinseltown.

Global Music Project 10-10-10 “After Party” Review and Pictures

10-10-10 was the name of the party put on by Global Music Project. Global Music Project works not only around the city of Seattle but around the world [ check the GMP facebook for more info ]. Global Music Project aligned themselves with a host of other non-profit agencies to have a nice after party. After a long day of serving the community, people shared drinks, laughs, conversation and good times.

The music selection was excellent and featured a very talented sarod player [ James Whetzel ] and VNT showed Seattle a glimpse of how awesome their DJ On Demand service is by streaming a dj from Chicago [Dj Kole]! lol I know I said VNT wasn’t going to provide pictures but we changed our mind and took a few here. Look and like our other photos on our Facebook too!
